A product of the golden era of Soundcloud, Faysal Matin embraced the collaborative nature of the platform to seamlessly transition into art direction and design for fast-rising artists such as Aminé, Kaytranada, Alina Baraz, Cautious Clay, and countless others. Inspired by the likes of Peter Saville and his iconic work for Joy Division and New Order, Matin’s embrace of recontextualizing classical references demonstrates the studied thoughtfulness of his design practice.

In collaboration with le PÈRE, Matin sought to reimagine a classic Dutch painting of flowers through a beveled glass distortion effect applied as a print on a high performance mesh material. The Fleurs du Matin Mesh Pullover and Shorts juxtapose a sporty, athletic silhouette with the elegance of the distorted floral pattern.
